Can I pay for both the SpeakUp and the Math Olympiad contests on the same payment?
No unfortunately this is not possible as the two contests have separate accounts. 

Can I participate in both the SpeakUp and the Math Olympiad contests?
Yes, you can if you are living in Singapore or in one of the other listed countries. Please register for both contests separately at their own website.  

How are the prizes awarded in the event of a tie for first or second place?
The Chief Judge will make the decision. 

I have changed my mind or I cannot make it for the contest after registering and making payment.   Can I get a refund?
Once payment is made, there will be no refund.  

What are the eligibility criteria to participate in the contest?
You must be aged between 8 to 16 years old. 

I am studying and resident in Cambodia but I am Singaporean.  Can I participate in the contest?
Yes, you can if you meet the eligibility criteria.  However, you will be considered as representing your school in Cambodia and numbered with the quota of candidates under Cambodia. 

Can I participate if my country is not one of the countries in the list?
No, you cannot.  

Can I participate even if I am not from the partner schools already associated with SIMCC or International Scholastic Trust?
Yes, you can still participate as a private candidate so long as you meet the eligibility criteria. 

Does participation in this contest help me qualify for the International Junior Honor Society (IJHS)?
Absolutely but note that you need at least two significant medals (either gold in the Local iSpeak Contest or gold or silver in the Global iSpeak Contest) to be inducted into the IJHS.  
If you had won gold at the Local iSpeak Contest and then went on to win a silver at the Global iSpeak Contest, you already will be inducted into the IJHS.  

Can the Organiser provide funding or sponsorship for travel to Singapore to attend the Global iSpeak Contest?
The Organiser does not provide any sort of funding for the Global iSpeak Contest.  However,you can talk to your school or other external parties to consider funding your travel for the Contest. 

How much will it cost to participate in the Local Contest?
There is a registration fee of SGD 45 per participant in the Local iSpeak Contest. 

Roughly how much will it cost to participate in the Global Contest in Singapore?
A 3-day 2-night travel package (excluding airfare) will cost roughly SGD 405.
There will also be the Global iSpeakregistration fee of SGD 110.    

What are the payment modes to participate in the Local/Global iSpeak?
As part of the online registration for theLocal iSpeak Contest, you will be directed to pay using Flywire, which has no bank charges.  

Can I register for the Local iSpeak via email?
No, we only accept online registrations from the contest website www.ispeakcontest.org

The iSpeak Contest is organized by:
